Description

Nos. 26 and 28, Castle Hill are 18th-century buildings with a red brick front and an old tiled roof. They are two storeys high and feature a corbelled cornice. The ground floor has two flush casement windows with glazing bars, each set within a cambered arch. No. 26 has a 19th-century door surround consisting of slim panelled pilasters, an entablature with cut brackets to the cornice, and a hood. Nos. 26 and 28 form a group with the other listed buildings on the north side of Castle Hill.
