Description
Nos 36 and 36A on Castle Hill are 18th-century buildings featuring a red brick façade and an old tile roof. They stand two storeys high with attics and have a corbelled cornice. The first floor has two flush casement windows set under cambered arches, with glazing bars on the right-hand window. On the ground floor, there is a Neo-Georgian segmental bow window on the right, which has a modified modillion cornice. To the left, there are two doorways that share a continuous cornice hood supported by four cut brackets. The buildings also feature two gabled casement dormers. All the listed buildings on the north side of Castle Hill form a group.
