Description

No. 38 Castle Hill is an 18th-century front attached to an earlier core. The building is constructed of red brick with a roof now tiled with machine tiles. It is two storeys high with an attic, and features a corbelled cornice and a band at the first floor level. The ground floor has a pair of Neo-Georgian oriel bow windows. The first floor has two flush casements set under cambered arches, and there are two modern box dormers in the attic. The listed buildings on the north side of Castle Hill form a group.
