Description
Ham Barn is a timber-framed field barn from the early 18th century that has been converted into a dwelling. It features red brick infill panels and is set on sandstone foundations. The barn has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. The windows are modern casements with glazing bars, and there are gabled dormers. Inside, the structure includes tie beam trusses with two pairs of angle struts from each tie beam, and carpenter's marks can be seen on the main structural timbers. Attached to the south end is a single-storey brick addition from the 18th century, which also has a steeply pitched modern plain tile roof with a gabled end.
