Description
The gate pier and retaining wall, located approximately 105 metres east-south-east of Wroxall Abbey Hotel, date back to the 18th century. The gate pier is constructed from stone ashlar and features a rusticated design with a cornice at the top and a fluted vase finial. It is one of a pair of gate piers. The accompanying structure is a brick retaining wall.
