Description

This headstone, located approximately 5.5 meters south of the south porch of the Church of St. Giles, dates back to 1676. It is made of carved and moulded ironstone and features a scrolled pediment with a winged head. The design includes a pulvinated frieze, Corinthian half columns, and a fielded panel adorned with leaf scrolls. The inscription on the headstone commemorates William Smith.
