Description
This is a mid-18th century house, now used as shops, located on the east side of High Street, Southam. It is likely originally constructed from brick in a Flemish garden wall bond, but the front is now rendered. The rear is built of squared coursed lias stone, and the roof is tiled. The house has a three-unit plan with two storeys and an attic. The front has a three-window range of 19th-century three-light casement windows on the first floor. There is a 19th-century shop window in the centre of the ground floor, with a 20th-century shop front to the right. The ground floor has three 20th-century doors, with one 19th-century plank door in the centre. Two gabled dormers are visible in the roof. Inside, the house features chamfered spine beams on both the ground and first floors.
