Description
Hiorn's Bridge is a bridge over the River Dene, built in 1755 by David Hiorn for George Lucy. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a rusticated segmental arch with a keystone. The bridge has end piers topped with ball finials, a cornice, and a parapet with square-section balusters on the west side, which faces the park. There are also flanking abutments with parapets. The bridge was built when the public road was diverted away from Charlecote Park.
