Description
End House is a house located in Wellesbourne Hastings, dating from the 17th century and enlarged in the 19th century. It features painted brick laid in Flemish bond, with some timber-framing, and has gabled old tile roofs with a brick ridge stack. The building has a two-unit plan with an extension to the left and is a single-storey structure with an attic, displaying a two-window range.
On the exterior, there is a single-storey wing to the left that includes a re-entrant porch. The center of the house retains square framing with a small high window, and there is a canted bay window with a hipped roof to the right. The garden front has an entrance to the left of center, which is marked by a gabled porch with French doors. To the right, there are two segmental-headed windows featuring two-light small-paned casements, and two gabled dormer windows also with small-paned casements. Additionally, there is a single-storey addition to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
