Description

This is a garden urn located approximately 4 meters west of the entrance to Mountbatten House. It dates from the late 17th century and is made of stone. The urn features a large bowl adorned with a Vitruvian scroll band and has a shallow moulded top topped with a finial in the shape of a basket of flowers. It stands on a pedestal and is centrally placed in the forecourt of Mountbatten House, which is enclosed by gatepiers, gates, and railings.
