Description
Lower Lark Stoke is a house that likely dates back to the early 17th century, with some alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof, which has ashlar ridge and end stacks, the left stack having triple diagonal shafts. The building has two parallel gabled ranges, with the left range projecting.
The exterior consists of two storeys and an attic, featuring two single-window ranges of stone-mullioned windows that have labelmoulds. There is a four-light window to the left, with a three-light window above it, and a three-light window to the right. The entrance is located to the left of the right range. The recessed right end has a two-window range of similar three-light windows with slightly recessed panels above.
The interior has not been inspected, but it is likely to contain exposed beams and fireplaces with bressumers.
