Description

Phoenix House is a mid-18th century house located on the south side of Harbury High Street. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a 19th-century terracotta tile roof, featuring 19th-century terracotta finials. The building has a brick central stack with a dogtooth cornice and a 20th-century brick top. The plan follows a two-unit baffle-entry configuration.

The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has a three-window front. The central entrance features a flush six-panelled door within a simple moulded wood frame. The windows are mostly 19th-century two-light casements with glazing bars, and one fixed-light window on the ground floor, set within a reduced opening which may have previously been a shop window. All windows have painted wood lintels. A Phoenix firemark is visible on the first floor. The return sides and rear of the building have 20th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected.
