Description

The Farmhouse on the Green is a former farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and features a later addition. The building is constructed of brick on a dressed stone plinth, with some ashlar and rubble, and has a tile roof with brick stacks at the ends and an ashlar stack at the rear. The layout consists of a two-unit plan with a single-unit addition on the right end.

The exterior is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The original house has a stone plinth, and the entrance on the right end is marked by a 20th-century gabled porch. The ground floor includes three segmental-headed windows fitted with 20th-century three-light casements, while the first floor has 20th-century three-light casements and one two-light casement above the entrance. The left side of the building features ashlar with a weatherboarded gable, and the rear has a catslide outshut that incorporates an external lateral stack. There is also some rubble masonry visible on the right side of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
