Description
This is a row of six headstones located approximately 8 meters south-southeast of the south door of the Church of All Saints. The headstones date from the mid to late 17th century, late 17th to early 18th century, mid 18th century, and the 19th century. They are made of carved and moulded ironstone.
The second headstone, from the mid to late 17th century, features a scrolled top and a sunk panel with an inscription to Thomas Wrighton, which is also inscribed on the reverse. The fourth headstone, dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, has a steep scrolled pediment adorned with flowers and swags, along with a moulded sunk panel. The sixth headstone, dated 1659, is small with a round top and a cross that divides the sunk panel. The other headstones in the row do not possess special architectural interest.
