Description

Shuckburgh Hall gatepiers and gate, located approximately 100 metres east, were built around 1844. They are constructed from limestone ashlar and feature a moulded stone cornice. The square piers are topped with large octagonal covered urn finials that have gadrooned stems. The gate itself is an X-framed wrought iron design with plain railings, ball finials, and scrolled ends. This structure is included for its group value.
