Description
Crown Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the mid-18th century, with later additions and alterations, including a 20th-century flat-roofed, two-storey extension at the center of the rear. The building is constructed of rendered and painted brick, topped with a pantile roof and featuring brick stacks. It has a three-unit plan.
The exterior is two storeys high and has three first-floor windows. The entrance is off-centre to the right and features a 20th-century six-panel door set within a 20th-century porch. Flanking the entrance are two 20th-century bow windows, one on each side. To the left, there is an 8/8 sash window with a keystone lintel. On the first floor, there is an 8/8 sash window to the left, followed by two three-light casement windows, all of which have glazing bars. The building has a dentilled eaves cornice and a gabled roof, with ridge and rear stacks at the right end.
The interior has not been inspected. Crown Farmhouse forms a group with Crown Barn.
