Description
A chest tomb and 16 headstones are located approximately 21 metres south-southwest of the Church of St Peter in Kineton. The chest tomb features two stones on each side and a row of 12 stones at the back. The tomb dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century, while the chest tomb itself is from the late 18th century. It is made of ashlar and includes a moulded plinth and top slab, angle balusters, and plain panels. The headstones are intricately carved with cartouches, swags, and putti. The churchyard also contains many well-carved headstones from the 17th and 18th centuries.
