Description
This headstone, located approximately 6 meters south of the nave of the Church of St. John the Baptist, dates back to 1706. It is made of carved ironstone and features a moulded segmental top with a winged head. The design includes a convex cartouche framed by a wreath of flowers. The inscription commemorates Richard Hitcockes, although it has become eroded over time. This headstone is included for its group value with the church.
