Description
Shuckburgh Hall gatepiers and gates, located approximately 20 meters south-southeast of the hall, date from around 1844. They are made of limestone ashlar and feature a moulded stone cornice. The square piers are topped with large octagonal covered urn finials. The gates consist of an X-frame wrought iron design, with a pedestrian gate to the left, and are accompanied by railings that have ball finials and scrolled ends. These structures are included for their group value.
