Description
This is a group of three chest tombs located approximately 6 meters east of the chancel of the Church of All Saints. They date from the early to mid-18th century and are made of carved and moulded ironstone. The left tomb is dated 1763 and the right tomb is dated 1764. All three tombs feature similar designs, including a moulded plinth and top, as well as square corner balusters. Each tomb has fielded panels on two sides and bears inscriptions related to the Burdon family. Additionally, there is a chest tomb to the southeast, which is also from the early 18th century and shares the same moulded plinth, top, and fielded panels.
