Description

Manor Farmhouse and attached stable block dates from the 17th and 18th centuries, with 19th-century extensions. The farmhouse is constructed of brick in a Flemish garden wall bond, with a black tile roof. It features a large brick ridge stack, rendered, and a smaller brick stack to one end. The main facade is two storeys high, with a five-window arrangement. The main entrance has a late 18th-century doorcase with a moulded architrave, and a 19th-century wooden porch. A 19th-century plank door is located to the left, alongside a 20th-century casement window. Other ground floor windows include 18th-century casements to either side of the main door, and a 20th-century casement to the left of the plank door, with a 19th-century casement to the right. The first floor has a 19th-century three-light casement to the centre, a 20th-century casement within a dormer, and a 19th-century casement above the plank door. 19th-century, rendered extensions are located at the rear. Inside the original 17th-century section on the left are chamfered beams with ogee stops. The 18th-century range on the right also has chamfered beams. Attached to the left is a 19th-century stable block.
