Description
Campbell’s Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century. It is timber-framed with plaster and brick nogging, and features brick gable ends. The roof is corrugated iron with brick stacks positioned along the ridge and at one end. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, and originally had a three-window front. A 20th-century plank door is present. There are 19th-century three-light casement windows on the ground storey, and in the attic dormers. The house sits on a rendered plinth. A 19th-century lean-to extension is attached to the left side, and further 19th-century extensions are at the rear. Inside, a chamfered beam is visible, featuring run-out stops.
