Description

This description refers to a group of two chest tombs located approximately 4 meters south of the east end of the chancel of the Church of St Mary the Virgin in Clifton upon Dunsmore. The tombs are dated 1717 and 1754. One of the tombs is made of sandstone and features plain panels, while the other is constructed from slate with a sandstone top and has reeded pilasters at the corners.
