Description
The Lodge at Fillongley Hall is a lodge built around 1830. It is constructed from stuccoed brick and features a roof that is hidden by a balustraded parapet, which is divided into three bays above a moulded main cornice. There is a blocked parapet on one side and a ridge stack made of ashlar. The building is a single storey with a three-bay Doric portico in antis, supported by paired pilasters at the corners. The central entrance has a flush panelled door, which is flanked by 12-pane hung sash windows. It is likely that the lodge was built by J.L. Ackroyd for Rev. Bowyer Adderley.
