Description
Beechwood Lodge is a late 18th-century lodge located at the southeast entrance to Packington Park, approximately 570 meters southeast of Packington Hall. It is constructed of buff sandstone ashlar on a brick plinth, with a rendered rear wall. The lodge features a pyramidal slate roof with a moulded stone eaves cornice and has a square plan. The doorway is set in a square-headed opening on the side wall opposite the carriageway. The southeast elevation is pedimented and has a rusticated surround framing a recessed round-headed arch. There is a hung sash window with glazing bars in a square head. A mid-19th-century extension at the rear is not considered to have special architectural interest.
