Description
A row of three cottages located in Alton, dating from the 18th century and altered later. The construction is primarily painted brick, with one bay at the north end featuring ashlar. The roof is covered in plain tiles, and there are brick end and ridge stacks. The cottages face east. They are two stories high, with a chamfered eaves band, and have a five-window front. The windows are casements, with those on the ground floor to the right, left, and far left having segmental heads. Number 1, on the right, is two bays wide, featuring a storey band in its left-hand bay, and a door on the left side. Number 2, in the centre, has a door to the right. Number 3, on the left, has a central door.
