Description

No. 3 Watt Place is a house dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof with dentilled eaves and a large end stack on the right side. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window front. On the right, there are segmental-headed 3-light casements, while the left side has a 2-light window. The attic includes a 3-light window located just left of centre beneath the eaves. The central entrance has a segmental head and features a 20th-century part-glazed door along with a lightweight porch. This house forms a prominent visual stop alongside No. 1 Watt Place when viewed from High Street, particularly behind the drinking fountain.
