Description

No. 8 and 10, The Terrace is a house built in the late 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof with a decorative dentilled eaves band. Each unit has an end stack positioned to the left. The front of the building is divided into two parts: No. 8 slightly projects and has three storeys with a single range of casements, the lower two of which have segmental heads. The entrance is located to the right and has reeded surrounds and a hood. No. 10, which is set back to the left, has two storeys and an attic, maintaining the same ridge height as No. 8. It features a single range of wide, small pane casements with painted wedged heads and a six-panel door set to the right.
