Description

29 High Street is a shop built in the early 19th century, with some minor alterations from the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of red brick and features rusticated quoins and stone dressings. It has a tiled roof with a dentilled eaves course, a brick stack at the left end, and a ridge stack at the center. The front is three stories high with two windows. The large pane sashes have rusticated wedged heads and enlarged moulded keystones on the first floor. The shop front spans the full width of the building and includes a cornice supported by moulded consoles, plate glass windows, and a recessed central entrance.
