Description
This is a barn located approximately 30 metres north-east of Whitehough, dating from the early 18th century with mid-19th century additions. It is constructed from coursed dressed and squared stone and features a tiled roof with verge parapets and pitched copings supported by corbelled kneelers. The barn has an L-shaped plan and is arranged over two levels, with a hay loft above the cattle sheds and a lean-to outshut to the north. The long west face, which measures approximately 25 metres, runs down a slight incline on a plinth. The right-hand section is set back and has vents positioned above two widely spaced doors. The left side of the outshut includes a 19th-century casement window and an entrance located to the left of centre.
