Description
The pool and fountain, located approximately 10 yards south of The Orangery, date from the early 19th century. The structure features a circular pool made of ashlar stone with concave sides. At the center stands a lead figure that holds a basin and fountain. This feature is part of the significant garden layout at Alton Towers, which is included in the Grade I listing on the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Gardens Register.
