Description
The Ginders Memorial is a pedestal tomb located 2 meters north of the chancel of the Church of St Lawrence in Biddulph. It dates from the early 19th century and is dedicated to the Ginders family. The memorial is made of stone and stands approximately 1.6 meters high. It features an octagonal plinth supporting a square plan die, which has rebates at the angles. The tomb includes oval inscription panels and a double string course below a moulded surbase. At the top, there is an urn capping adorned with gadrooned draping and a finial.
