Description

This is a house, now divided into flats and a pair of shops, dating from the 18th century and altered in the 20th century, including the addition of shopfronts. The exterior is red brick, painted on the frontage, with tiled roofs and end stacks to the right. The building’s design comprises two parallel ranges. The front elevation is three storeys high and has four window bays. A band runs across the first-floor ceiling level. The right-hand side features 20th-century casement windows, while the left side has large-pane sash windows, which are shallower on the top floor. Plate glass shopfronts with recessed entrances have been inserted.
