Description
Hall Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid 17th century, with alterations made in the mid 19th century. It features a timber frame that is mostly covered in roughcast and has a tiled roof with a large central ridge stack. The building is two storeys high with a gable-lit attic and has a three-window front that creates the appearance of a hall and cross wings, although it is actually flush-fronted with a continuous range behind the twin-gabled front. The gables are canted at eaves level and have small pane, diamond-shaped windows at the apex. Below, there are grouped casement windows with three, two, and three lights, positioned towards the centre. The central entrance is hooded and features a six-panel door. The exposed timber frame is visible on two gables, showcasing a herringbone pattern, small framing, and blind first-floor windows. There is also a further wing to the rear, likely added in the mid 19th century.
