Description
Moreton House is a late 18th-century building, designed in an L-shape. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped slate roof with brick stacks and bold eaves. The house has two storeys and a five-window front, which includes one blocked window. Notable architectural details include sash and casement windows, a flat stone stringcourse, and a stone Doric porch that leads to a panelled door with a segmental fanlight. Inside, there is a fine contemporary mahogany staircase and a barrel-vaulted ceiling in the entrance hall.
