Description
The remains of Sugnall Old Hall date from around 1772 and consist of the surviving kitchen wing, as the main hall was demolished in the 1870s. This single-storey structure is built of stone. The north side features two renewed windows with keyblocks, while the east side, which is made of later brick, has a crow-stepped gable. A massive lateral stack is located on the south side, and the building has moulded stone eaves and an old tile roof that is hipped on the west side, along with a modern dormer. Currently, it is used as a Scout Hall by the Ernest Goodall Memorial Scout Troup.
