The Cottage is an early 19th-century modest cottage built in the local vernacular style. It is constructed of red brick and has two storeys. The building features three casement windows and two plain doorways; one doorway has a later 19th-century gabled rustic porch, while the other is framed by a plain wood pilaster doorcase and has a small weather hood.
