Description

The Memorial Hall, built in 1862, was designed as a school by the architect G E Street. It is constructed in the Gothic style using red brick with stone dressings and features a tiled roof. The building has gables at either end, each adorned with a three-light window that includes plate tracery. A gable protrudes towards the road, which has a porch with a lean-to roof attached. The hall was disused at the time of inspection in 1978.
