Description

The boathouse on the north side of Cop Mere, likely built around 1735 when the park was established, has undergone significant reconstruction in the early 19th century. It is designed in a Gothic style, constructed from red brick with a tiled roof. The structure features a small square pavilion above an arched docking bay. The front includes a door flanked by side lights, both with ogeé arched heads, a quatrefoil frieze, toothed eaves, and an embattled parapet.
