Description

The remains of a windmill, likely dating from the late 18th century, are located on the south side of Eccleshall Windmill Lane in Croxton. The structure consists of a roofless brick tower featuring window openings with stone surrounds and a flat arched door opening. It is said to stand on the site of an Armada beacon.
