Description

Billington Hall is a notable example of late 18th century vernacular architecture in the area. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped slate roof with brick stacks. The building has bold eaves and stands three storeys tall. The front has three windows, with sash and casement styles; only the second floor windows have glazing bars. The ground and first floor windows are adorned with rusticated heads. The entrance includes a doorway framed by Doric columns, topped with a pediment and a fanlight.
