Description
Meaford Old Hall Farmhouse is a 17th-century building located off Stone Rural Mount Road. The structure is irregular in shape and features a combination of timber framing, which is partly exposed on the west side, and red brick. It has two storeys and an additional storey in the attic. The farmhouse includes early 19th-century casement windows that are arranged irregularly and two plain doorways with cambered heads. On the left side, there is an early 19th-century wing. To the right, a late 16th-century timber-framed wing projects from the main building, showcasing a rendered gable end and close-spaced vertical framing on the north side, with some areas filled with wattle and daub and others with stone. The base is made of stone, and there is a massive stone lateral stack. Inside, the farmhouse features exposed ceiling beams.
