Description
This barn and stable block, dating from the mid-18th century, is located approximately 20 yards north of Great Moor House. It is constructed from red brick with a sandstone plinth and features a clay tile roof. The building has a six-bay range and is a single storey high. The walls include air vents, and there is a glazing bar casement window with a pointed head on the right side, along with a shuttered opening on the left. Full-height double-leaved doors are present on both the right and left sides. To the right, there is a brick stable block that has a hipped clay tile roof and double-leaved board doors. Inside, the structure boasts heavy roof trusses with angle struts.
