Description
Birdhouse Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with brick additions and a clay tile roof, along with brick stacks. The cottage has one storey and an attic, divided into three bays. The left bay has small square panels, short straight braces, and long tension braces. The central bay is from the 19th century and has planted timber framing, while the right bay is made of 20th-century painted brick and planted timber framing. It includes casement windows, flat-roofed leaded dormers, and a door located to the left within a gabled porch. Inside, the roof is supported by queen struts.
