Description
Number 15 and the attached agricultural building is a house and agricultural structure dating from the 17th century, with a mid to late 19th century addition. The original 17th century building features a timber frame with brick infill, although part of it has been rebuilt in brick. It has a clay tile roof and a brick ridge stack. The structure consists of a four-bay range and is one storey high with an attic. The left-hand bay has small square panels with long tension braces, while the second bay from the left has tall panels (which have been restored) with ventilation holes in the brick infill. The two right-hand bays have been rebuilt in brick. The 19th century addition on the left is made of red brick, has a slate roof, and features a brick stack at the front. This addition is two storeys high and has two windows with glazing bar sashes. There is also a 20th century ground floor bay with a hipped clay tile roof and glazing bar casements, which incorporates the current entrance at the right-hand end.
