Description
This is a row of three houses, likely originally one dwelling, located on the north-west side of High Street in Kinver. The structure dates primarily to the 17th century, with early 18th-century additions. The building is timber-framed, with parts rebuilt in brick and painted brick additions. It has a plain tile roof with a raised verge on the right-hand side, and brick ridge stacks.
The northern section is a two-bay range that was extended in the 18th century. The left-hand part of the building (numbers 19 and 20) is timber-framed, with a brick ground floor wall and three square panels from the first floor to the eaves, featuring straight bracing. It has two casement windows and two boarded doors with rectangular overlights. To the right is a brick extension featuring a storey band and dentilled eaves band, alongside a two-storey gabled porch on the left-hand end. This section has a 1:3 window arrangement, with casement windows; those to the porch and ground floor have segmental heads. A 19th-century double door is located within the porch, beneath a segmental arch, with a rectangular overlight. Brick dripstone bands are present above the porch openings. Large garage doors are positioned to the right. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
