Description

This is a chimney stack located approximately 20 yards north-east of Pillaton Old Hall. It dates from the early 16th century and is constructed of red brick with a sandstone plinth. The stack is rectangular and stands about 20 feet high, featuring a large blocked fireplace on the west side. This chimney stack once served the former east range of Pillaton Old Hall, which has since been demolished.
