Description

The bridge and causeway located immediately north of Pillaton Old Hall date from the 18th century and have undergone later alterations. Constructed of ashlar and red brick, the bridge features a single segmental arch that spans the moat in front of Pillaton Old Hall. The coped parapet extends to the north for about 20 yards and is terminated by piers topped with ball finials. Together, the bridge and causeway serve as the main approach to Pillaton Old Hall.
