Description
Seisdon Hall is a large house located on Seisdon Road in Trysull and Seisdon. The main structure dates to around 1840-50, though it incorporates some fabric from the 17th century. It is built of red brick with a plain tile roof, featuring shaped and coped gables and brick stacks. The architectural style is Jacobean, with the principal facade facing south-east. The house is two storeys high with an attic and five gabled bays; the bays to the right and left of centre project. The windows are largely cross windows with segmental brick arches, hood moulds, raised architraves and keystones, and some have ball finials; a first-floor sill band runs across the facade. A porch with a semi-circular arched doorway is situated to the right of the centre. A two-storey single-bay wing extends to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
