Description
The former cartshed and stable, located immediately west of Lanes Farmhouse, is a building from the mid-18th century that has been converted into a garage in 1987. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with stepped gables. The building is oriented to face southeast and consists of one storey with a gable-lit loft, which has a decorative dentilled eaves band. There are two segmental arched cart entrances that now have 20th-century garage doors. The right-hand gable includes a loft door that is accessed by tallet steps. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
